Committee on Air Pollution Effects Research on Mediterranean Ecosystems
CAPERmed aims to bring together people working on air pollution in Mediterranean ecosystems in order to coordinate expertise for quantifying current impacts and identify future challenges.
This initiative is based on the experience of the Committee on Air Pollution Effects Research established in the United Kingdom in the second half of the 1970´s. CAPER meetings have provided a successful platform to discuss how Britain’s ecosystems respond to threats from air pollution for the benefit of researchers, students, Agency and Conservation staff.
